A Sweet Collab with The Brothers Comatose
Lindsay on Cluster Flies, a Phish Compilation Album
When JamBase came calling, I accepted the charges! Thrilled to be among the crazy talented acts that contributed to Cluster Flies, a compilation featuring 17 reimagined Phish songs from their album. Farmhouse. Out TODAY, I performed “Mountains in the Mist” feat. Sierra Ferrell & Kyle Tuttle.
The limited-edition 3LP release features custom artwork and a poster designed by Phish collaborator Jim Pollock. Phish covers were recorded by Umphrey’s McGee’s Brendan Bayliss, Club d’Elf, Daniel Donato, Chris Forsyth, Neal Francis, Jennifer Hartswick, Amy Helm, Lindsay Lou, Reed Mathis, White Denim’s James Petralli, Strand Of Oaks, Sylvan Esso, William Tyler, Sadler Vaden, Vetiver, Ryley Walker, and a supergroup led by Tim Palmieri.
A true reimagining of Farmhouse, the songs on Cluster Flies are presented in an entirely new sequence with five bonus tracks alongside the 12 others on the original album, all expertly mastered by engineer Joe Lambert.

The Suite Sweets OUT NOW!
I wrote all the elements of The Suite Sweets during a time when I was practicing with a lot of Immersion Composition Society (ICS) writing lodges. I was dedicating hours to the practice of writing as uninhibitedly as possible, and sometimes I would come out with partial songs that I would go back later to finish. I noticed that there were common themes among them, so I decided to try a smash-up of the two songs that mentioned bells into one song, and a smash-up of the two songs that mentioned being alright into another song, and I was pleasantly surprised by the outcome. It seemed that the Suites had a sort of emergent property, which was greater than the sum of their parts. I made these particular tracks as demos, but loved the raw energy so much I knew I wanted to share them with the world when the time was right. There is the deep thread of my personal journey with mental health in ‘Alright Sweet’ and of the complexities of love in ‘Bell Suite,’ so I can’t imagine a better way to bring them to you than with the benefit show I’ve put together for Valentine’s Day weekend in support of Backline: a music industry-specific resource for mental health and well-being.
Big thanks to The Bluegrass Situation for premiering my A/B singles. Listen now — hope you enjoy!

The Sweet Water Warblers Debut Album
If the whole is greater than the sum of its parts, then The Sweet Water Warblers are no exception. Comprised of Michigan songbirds Rachael Davis, Lindsay Lou, and May Erlewine, the folk trio’s organic vocal harmonies and seamlessly interwoven instrumentation leaves listeners breathless.

We have created a record of songs for you that we feel so proud to release. 'The Dream That Holds This Child' was born to empower and uplift our spirits and the divine feminine within us. The songs were co-written with Maya de Vitry and were tracked in Nashville with producer, Dan Knobler (Lake Street Dive, Erin Rae) at the legendary Sound Emporium. The album features the incredible talent of Anthony Da Costa (Yola, Molly Tuttle, Joy Williams) on guitars, Maya De Vitry (The Stray Birds) on guitar and vocals, Ethan Jodziewicz (The Milk Carton Kids, Sierra Hull) on bass, Jamie Dick (The Milk Carton Kids, Rhiannon Giddens) on drums, and Jen Gunderman (Sheryl Crow, Willie Nelson, St. Vincent) on keys. The entire session was a very soulful experience and each individual lent their hearts and magic to this music.
These songs bloomed from the deep darkness of the earth and were sung awake through relentless storm.
We are here, very much, on purpose.
